Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, has said that the company is planning the biggest update to the Windows operating system in a decade. In fact, he hinted at introducing a new version of the operating system that works on devices of more than 1.3 billion people.
He said that Microsoft plans to introduce a new version of Windows very soon. "I've been using it for the last few months and I'm very excited about the new generation Windows operating system," he said. Not much is known about the new version of Windows, but rumors have it that the new version will be codenamed Cobalt, which will update the operating system design.
The last time Microsoft introduced a new operating system in the form of Windows 10 was in 2015, which was Windows 8.1 was replaced. It is difficult to say when the new operating system will be introduced, but according to various reports, its initial form may be released by the end of 2021.
This was stated by Satya Nadella during the annual Blood Developers Conference of Microsoft. He said that technology industry is still the fastest growing industry which represents 10% of global GDP.
